【獎學金資訊】
為促進社科院學生進行跨國移地研究，厚植研究能力並培養跨國經驗，台大社科院亞比中心舉辦「碩博士跨國移地研究獎學金」，歡迎正在進行亞洲、移地研究的各位碩博士踴躍申請。

申請人資格：
．本校社會科學相關系所之碩博士生，其研究主題涉及至少一個臺灣以外的亞洲國家之移地研究。

獎學金：
．獎助金額為新臺幣二萬至三萬元，視申請人所赴國家之物價水準調整。

名額：
．視當年經費而定，每年三至六名，已領取過本獎學金者不得重複申請。

申請資料：
1. 申請人履歷。
2. 申請人論文計畫書口試通過證明或指導教授的書面推薦函。
3. 中文或英文研究計畫：敘明研究目的、田野工作期程規劃與預算，與田野工作預期成果。
4. 英語能力或欲前往國家之語言證明：托福新制iBT八十分或IELTS六點五分以上，申請赴韓國應具備韓語能力檢定TOPIK三級，赴日本應達日語能力檢定JLPT二級，或其他相關之語言能力證明。研究地點使用語言為申請人母語者，得免附語言證明。

申請時程：
每年分兩個梯次。上半年申請截止期限：每年五月一日；結果公告日期：每年六月一日。下半年申請截止期限：每年十一月一日；結果公告日期：每年十二月一日。

繳件方式：
申請人將申請資料依上述順序整併、掃描成一個PDF檔後，以電子郵件寄送到本中心(ntugarc@ntu.edu.tw)，信件主旨為「碩博士跨國移地研究獎學金申請」。若推薦人無法於申請截止期限前取得論文計畫書口試通過證明，得以指導教授的推薦函替代。推薦函需由指導教授直接以電子郵件(信件主題為「推薦函：碩博士跨國移地研究獎學金申請」)於申請截止日前送達本中心。

[FIELDWORK RESEARCH GRANT]
To encourage students of the College of Social Sciences to engage in cross-national field research, enhance their research capacity, and gain international experience, the GARC of the College of Social Sciences is launching the Grant for Graduate Student Overseas Fieldwork. We invite Master’s and PhD students to apply for scholarships.

Eligibility:
Master's and doctoral students enrolled in social science-related departments at National Taiwan University.
Research topics must involve fieldwork in at least one Asian country outside Taiwan.

Scholarship Amount:
The grant ranges from NTD 20,000 to 30,000, adjusted according to the cost of living in the destination country.

Number of Awards:
Between three and six individuals each year
Previous recipients of this scholarship are not eligible to apply again.

Application Materials:
1. Applicant's Curriculum Vitae.
2. Proof of passing the oral defense of the thesis proposal or a written letter of recommendation from the advisor.
3. Research Proposal (in Chinese or English): the research purpose, fieldwork timeline, budget, and expected outcomes.
4. Proof of language proficiency in English or the destination country's language:
TOEFL iBT score of 80 or higher, or IELTS score of 6.5 or above.
For research in Korea, a TOPIK Level 3 or above is required.
For research in Japan, a JLPT Level 2 or above is required.
Other relevant language proficiency certificates are also acceptable.
Applicants conducting fieldwork in a country where the language is their native language are exempt from submitting language certification.

Notification: December 1

Submission Method:
Applicants should merge and scan all application materials into a single PDF file in the order listed above. The file must be submitted via email to the Center (ntugarc@ntu.edu.tw) with the subject line: "Application for Graduate Student Overseas Fieldwork Grant."

If the applicant is unable to obtain proof of passing the thesis proposal oral defense by the deadline, a letter of recommendation from their advisor may be submitted as a substitute. The recommendation letter must be sent directly by the advisor via email (with the subject line: "Recommendation Letter: Application for Graduate Student Overseas Fieldwork Grant") to the Center by the application deadline.
