對於退休老年人來說，影響生活的重要因素是什麼呢？
退休老人的福祉研究借鑑生命歷程、老齡化生態模型和拓寬構建理論，調查退休老年人的福祉，重點關注生活滿意度和孤獨感。
本研究數據收集於2022 年的 1,065 名退休老年人，而研究結果表明，正念和社區參與可能是改善退休老年人心理健康和减少孤獨感的積極資源。
此外，無論是金融資源，如養老金，還是非金融資源，如心理健康，都是生活滿意度的重要因素。
金融知識也是退休和老年人投資的關鍵，對財務福祉有顯著貢獻。
Chien-Chung Huang (Ph.D., 1998, Social Work, Columbia University) is a professor in the School of Social Work at Rutgers University. Research focuses on population mobility, the impact of social welfare policies on children and families, philanthropy and social development, nonprofit research, community foundations, and the impact of domestic violence on parents and children. Dr. Huang has edited and translated 7 books and published more than 100 academic papers.
本次演講邀請本系黃建忠系友，其目前任職於美國羅格斯大學社會工作學院擔任教授。
他在1998年畢業于美國哥倫比亞大學社會工作學院，獲得博士學位，他的研究著重於人口流動，社會福利政策對兒童和家庭的影響、慈善和社會發展、非營利組織研究、社區基金會、以及家庭暴力對父母與兒童的影響。黃教授已編輯翻譯7本書籍，並發表超過100篇學術論文。
