Wan-I Lin is a professor of Social Work at National Taiwan University. He is president of Taiwan Association of Schools of Social Work (TASSW) and was founding president of Taiwan Association of Gerontology (TAG). Since 2004, He has served as editor-in-chief of Taiwanese Social Work. He publishes widely on social work, social welfare, ageing studies, disaster management in Chinese or English. His recent publications in Chinese include books (e.g. Social Welfare, 2010; The Handbook of Disaster Management and Social Work, 2011; School Social Work Practice, 2012; Social Welfare in Taiwan: A Historical and Institutional Analysis, 2012; The Rights and Welfare of Persons with Disabilities in Taiwan, 2014; Great People in Social Work, 2014), in English collected volumes (e.g. The Aging Society and Social Policy in Taiwan, in Larry Diamond and Gi-Wook Shin (eds.)
